Suspected Infidelity Sparks Horror: Girl Critical After Ex’s Vicious Stabbing in Khordha

Khordha: In a distressing incident near Barunei in the Khordha district, a young woman is fighting for her life after allegedly being stabbed multiple times by a youth. The victim, employed at a local motor company, hails from Jajpur district, and reports suggest that a dispute erupted between the two due to undisclosed reasons. The accused has been identified as SK Qutubuddin, a resident of Jatni.

Sources reveal that the accused, suspecting the victim of infidelity with another youth, confronted her at her workplace on Tuesday. After an initial altercation, he reportedly slapped her and viciously stabbed her 10 times using a knife. Locals promptly informed the police, leading to the victim being rushed to Khordha Hospital and subsequently to AIIMS Bhubaneswar for medical attention.

Following the incident, the victim’s brother filed a formal police complaint, leading to the detention of the accused youth.
