Woman’s Decomposed Body Found In Bhubaneswar; Murder Suspected

Bhubaneswar: A decomposed body of a woman was found near a Shiva temple at Koradakanta on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Monday. Prima facie appears to be a case of murder.

According to reports, the deceased woman has been identified as Sarita Nayak and hails from Banigoccha area of Nayagarh district.

The matter came to light this morning after the foul smell came out of the room. Suspecting some mishaps, neighbours informed the local police regarding the matter.

On being informed, police reached the spot, barged into the house and recovered the body.

The woman and her husband were staying in a rented house in Koradakanta area and were working as daily labourers.

While the deceased woman’s husband is absconding, Saheed Nagar police are questioning her brother. Further investigation by the police is underway.
