Bhubaneswar: With the day temperature soaring to a scorching 41.2°C at 2.30 pm, Bhubaneswar became the hottest place in Odisha on Monday.
According to the information provided by the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, Chandbali was the second hottest place in Odisha at 41.1°C, while Jharsuguda was placed third at 41°C.

The Bhubaneswar regional centre of the India Meteorological Centre (IMD) has issued yellow alert for heat-wave conditions for Odisha. Hot and humid weather conditions very likely to prevail in different districts of Odisha for next four days.
