2 Stabbed to Death 5 Injured in Violent Clash During Holi in Delhi

New Delhi: Two persons were stabbed to death and five others were seriously injured in a violent clash during Holi festivities in west Delhi’s Mundka on Wednesday.

According to police sources, on Wednesday afternoon two people named Sonu and Abhishek, both residents of Friends Enclave had a fight over some issue. Their supporters also reached the spot to fight with each other. Abhishek and his friends attacked and stabbed Sonu. Abhishek was later attacked by the rival group and stabbed.

Seven persons including Sonu and Abhishek were injured in this violent clash. They were rushed to a nearby hospital where Sonu and another person named Navin were declared brought dead.

Abhishek and another seriously injured man were referred to the Safdarjung Hospital.

All persons involved in this group clash worked as labourers in a namkeen factory in the Mundka area. A case has been registered and an investigation has been taken up.
