Security was heightened at the Indian consulate in the US city of San Francisco following a demonstration by Khalistani supporters. This move is to thwart of attempts of vandalism by the Khalistani miscreants at the Indian consulate.
On Wednesday, more than 200 Khalistani supporters held a protest demonstration at the Indian Consulate in San Francisco. They waved Khalistan flags as part of a planned demonstration amid a heightened security presence of the San Francisco Police Department (SFDP) near the Indian Consulate.
The protesters were turbaned men who shouted pro-Khalistan slogans. They had reached the spot from different parts of the Bay area.
The organisers of this Khalistani demonstration used mikes to deliver anti-India speeches both in English and Punjabi languages. They attacked the Punjab Police for alleged human rights violations.
