Valentine’s Day Mishap: Young Couple Drowns in Goa

Goa: A couple, who were in Goa without knowledge of their families, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, drowned in Palolem Beach on Tuesday evening.

The deceased were Supriya Dubey (26) and Vibhu Sharma (27). Both of them were residents of Uttar Pradesh. They had come on a vacation to Goa without informing their families. Supriya was employed in Bengaluru and Vibhu resided in Delhi. Both got together in Goa to celebrate some romantic time during Valentine’s Day.

The police team with the help of lifeguards managed to recover their bodies from the sea. They were declared brought dead by the doctors at the Konkan Social Health Centre.

Police said the families of Supriya and Vibhu were not aware that they were in Goa. The couple was vacationing in Goa for the last couple of days.
