Major IAS Reshuffle in Odisha Govt: Bishnupada Sethi & Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma Assume New Responsibilities
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has made major changes at the IAS level, involving eight officers, as announced by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department through an official notification.
1. Bishnupada Sethi, who previously served as OSD in the GA & PG Department, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to the Government for the Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Department.
2. Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, formerly Special Secretary in the Planning & Convergence Department, has taken on the role of Commissioner for Land Records & Settlement in Odisha, located in Cuttack.
3. B. Parameswaran, who held the position of Director-cum-Additional Secretary for Drinking Water & Sanitation in the PR&DW Department, has been named the Commissioner for Consolidation in Bhubaneswar.
4. Ramashis Hazra, Director of AH & VS in Odisha, will continue to hold the additional charge of President for the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
5. Jyoti Prakash Das, who was based in Cuttack with additional responsibilities as Director of ROTI and President of the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, has been appointed as Director of Special Projects in the PR & DW Department while retaining his additional charge of Director of ROTI.
6. Arindam Dakua, the former Director of Special Projects in the PR & DW Department, has taken up the role of Director-cum-Additional Secretary in the Drinking Water & Sanitation sector within the PR & DW Department.
7. Indramani Tripathy, previously serving as Additional Secretary in the ST & SC Dev., M & BCW Department, has been appointed as the Director of ST while continuing to hold the additional charges of Director of SC & STRTI and Additional Secretary in the ST & SC Dev., M & BCW Department.
8. Subrata Satapathy, who was the Financial Advisor for the Board of Revenue in Odisha, Cuttack, will also retain the additional charge of Inspector General of Registration in Odisha, Cuttack.
